My Story behind "Fulfilled life"

ile Christine Nikolic Açık Aug 11, 2025
My Story behind "Fulfilled life"

How MY detailed life story and intended message, the secret to a fulfilling life, is revealed and how it flows into a unique, self-created work of art.

"Fulfilled life"

I would like to tell you about my seemingly insignificant personal story and share with you that everything inconspicuous can also become something special, valuable, and, of course, meaningful.

Everything in my life began quite ordinary, but it turned out that this ordinary would become something extraordinary. Because every phase, every circumstance, every change would shape me and transform me into something unique. It's the same for each of us, and for you as well. You are unique too! If you think nothing special has ever happened in your life, then think carefully about everything that has already happened to you, what might be happening right now, and what exciting things are sure to come, and how it has shaped you and will continue to shape you, making you and continuing to make you something inimitable and incomparable.

You can also compare it to a beautiful, colorful mosaic. Piece by piece, shard by shard, colorfully and interestingly put together until a unique work of art emerges.

Everyone here on this earth is writing a unique story that is and will be unique for all time and that hopefully also feels fulfilling.

PART 1

Since my story, as I mentioned, began quite inconspicuously, I still find it impressive that some things have taken unexpected turns. I think: That's just how life is.

For me, it all began like this: loved and happy by everyone, which isn't at all a given, to be so completely loved and cared for as a child.

Being loved by everyone around me is a privilege that should be normal, but it's not always a given.

It sounds harsh, but not every adult who cares for a child is qualified for it. Unfortunately! Why? Yes, because the waves of life shape and hurt, leaving wounds. These wounds are deeply embedded in us, stored in our hearts, and in every relationship with another person, our actions and words are shaped by these deep inner wounds, even as a responsible person, and even as a parent.

That's why a sheltered childhood is pure happiness. Nothing is more beautiful than a carefree, happy child who enjoys life without worry, has trust in everything around them, and wants to and should learn and try out everything possible with almost no fear.

The only thing that can top a child's happiness is the belief in a God who always loves them, protects them, and is there.

No matter what life situation I'm in...

I was fortunate, as I said, to be loved by everyone in my very early childhood. Of course, at 51, I can't remember it all that well, but the photos of my early childhood speak volumes.

Unfortunately, or perhaps naturally, life's storms have also struck me, and not every day was happy. However, I still had one and the most important, loving, and positively motivating person by my side, my mother. Unfortunately, she's no longer by my side, but she still inspires me because she mostly went through life cheerful, benevolent, happy, honest, and open (which I feel has definitely been integrated into my genes). And shaped by her love and the unconditional love of my Lord, I stand firm and ever more firmly as the creation I was meant to be.

What I have to note is that faith in God wasn't yet present in my childhood. But God would take care of it, because as a young adult, he urged me to search for the meaning of life. Suddenly, I had a feeling that I wanted to search for the meaning of life. I did that in my early 20s. Unfortunately, my decisions up to that point weren't always wise. I'm sure that if Jesus had been in my life, I would have made decisions that could have avoided some suffering.

During this phase of searching, still without faith, I made one of the most important decisions of my life (the most important one was, without a doubt, becoming a devout Christian, accepting Jesus as my Savior, and following HIM with conviction):

One day, I realized that my thoughts about other people weren't always pure, and I decided, from that point on, to consistently think only of good things and nothing more. To think bad, blasphemous things about people.

From this decision onward, everything was supposed to change for the better...

In retrospect, I know that this is what is very important to God. I'm reminded of a saying that is widespread in Germany: "Do not do to others what you do not want done to you!"

It seems very likely that this saying was inspired by the Golden Rule proclaimed by Jesus (Matthew 7:12): "Do also to others as you would have them do to you!"

Knowing and willing to do this, along with the understanding that the personal God and Father in heaven, who lovingly created each of us, can and will shape the child.

If she has learned this in her younger years and transformed into a kind adult who is loving, strong-willed, trusting, grateful, loving, patient, faithful, and honest, and who captivates others because these qualities are good and characterized by love, and love attracts like a magnet.

PART 2

As a young adult woman, on the other hand, now knowing what is right and good, she will attract precisely that which will naturally strengthen her character even more and see trust and gratitude, and above all, closeness to the Lord, as the most important things in life and live them out to the fullest.

Sure, life will be stormy, rough, and uncertain at times, as it is for me and everyone else, but with constant closeness and contact with the Lord, she will endure it with complete joy and go from victory to victory.

She will overcome challenges better and more easily because she trusts completely and listens to the Lord's wisdom and guidance, for in the familiar silence she will be able to hear what the Lord entrusts to her in any given situation.

This will enable her to choose and decide wisely. She will "go through it all" with secure trust, no matter what awaits her each day. Unfortunately, most people don't do this, although it is generally known: There is strength in calmness! People are constantly overwhelmed by countless activities and distractions.

She will find balance in everyday life, even the many stressful activities, through the much-needed silence, in which she gains new strength for each new day and is thus protected from all kinds of "attacks" that often seek to overwhelm her. Since it is known that God has an adversary who wants to use people's weaknesses to bring them down because He hasn't gotten His way, constant contact with the Lord is the MOST IMPORTANT and life-saving thing a believer should do to always be "PROTECTED."

The Lord's constant presence is a great privilege and should never be viewed with insignificance, underestimated, or taken for granted. It is life-saving and protects us from great suffering. The more I integrate quiet time with Him into my life, the more prepared I feel. All too often, a young adult chooses the "WRONG" things because they subconsciously always want to learn, can sometimes be a bit rebellious, and want to redefine themselves from adults, parents, and authority figures, because they want to become a person who wants to be completely individual, unique, and one of a kind, sometimes even completely unconsciously.

PART 3

floral canvas wall art of woman behind dandelion

As life progresses and you have learned a lot through life's experiences, you have a treasure that no one can take away. As wise, experienced believers, you are only too happy to share this wealth.

A metaphor of the dandelion plant, or rather, the mature plant that has been transformed into the dandelion clock, which easily releases its seeds and can grow into a healthy new plant in fertile soil because it carries the genetic material within it. I have integrated THIS MESSAGE into my artwork. Wisdom is not a given; it develops from a life lived modestly, characterized by love and insight, and faith in something higher. I feel this calling or quality.

My passion is, quite naturally, to gladly pass on what I have learned. Why is that?

I think it's to see other people happier, to see them grow, and to bring about change. I also see this as the meaning of life: to constantly learn, to grow, to change for the better as a person, to gain positive qualities, and ultimately to prepare for eternity. I see the world as a school.

                                        LEARN                  GROW             SHARE

Thus the circle closes.

My circle closes in that I have learned a lot and am still learning through both the good and the bad that have happened to me so far, and in that I have matured and discovered and improved on good things, and refrained from and abandoned bad things, thus achieving maturity and I am very happy to pass it on to people who ask for it, are in trouble and don't know what to do next, or are simply looking for a FULFILLED LIFE...

Let's walk this path together or continue on.

Feel free to contact me. Let's live a fulfilling life together, supporting each other and sharing the insights we have learned.

With my artwork, I open my heart and show what it desires and longs for so much. Furthermore, it is my intention to support you with my kind words.

Let's form a community of focused, unconditionally loving believers who encourage one another, stand up for one another, and grow together for eternity.

I love you and I'm looking forward to seeing you so much...
